Exhibition "Maeve" by Clara Tournay
Located on the Left Bank in Paris, the Hôtel Dame des Arts is an art hotel that hosts a monthly artist residency and a cultural program dedicated to contemporary art, design, cinema and literature. Immersive exhibitions, site-specific installations, live performances and creative dinners regularly transform the hotel's spaces into a true place of creation in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés.

A world between the visible and the invisible takes up residence at Dame des Arts. Through paintings, sculptures and photographs, Clara Tournay explores a sensitive infra-world, where light, matter and time become tangible.
Stone fragments, polycarbonate breaths, organic forms: her works reveal what ordinarily escapes the eye. Born from marble workshop offcuts and reinvented industrial materials, they carry the memory of bodies, landscapes and life cycles.

A Celtic goddess, Maeve embodies feminine power and the cycle of life.
Heir to the ancestral figures of the Earth-Mother, she lends her name to these works of organic forms. Fragments of marble and granite from quarries in Eastern France, offcuts laden with history, enter into dialogue with layers of translucent polycarbonate. Shaped, blown, moulded to the body, the material coils, passes through, breathes. Then light intervenes: revealing, transforming, animating. With every glance, the work transforms.

Dame des Arts Prize Trophy
On the occasion of the Dame des Arts Cinema Prize, Clara Tournay has created a series of unique trophies.
Conceived as works in their own right, these 15 cm pieces extend the world of Maeve: fragments of matter, plays of transparency and a breath of light.
